§ 9-904 Proposition for the submission of acts or resolutions. A\nproposition submitting an act or resolution of the board of trustees to\nthe approval of the electors pursuant to this chapter shall contain an\nabstract of such act or resolution concisely stating the purpose and\neffect thereof. The village clerk shall prepare such abstract\nproposition in the form in which it is proposed to be submitted to the\nboard of trustees for approval. Said board shall submit the approved\nproposition at an annual or special election in accordance with the\nprovisions of this chapter. If there be more than one such proposition\nto be voted upon at such election, each proposition shall be separately\nand consecutively numbered.\n
