§ 20-2003 Discharge of firearms in the village of Green Island. The\nlocal legislative body of the village of Green Island in the county of\nAlbany is authorized to prohibit by local law, rule or regulation the\ndischarge of firearms in areas in which such activity may be hazardous\nto the general public or nearby residents, and providing for the posting\nof such areas with signs giving notice of such local law, rule or\nregulation, which local laws, rules and regulations may be more, but not\nless restrictive than any other provision of law. Thirty days prior to\nthe adoption of any such local law, rule or regulation, a notice must be\nsent to the regional supervisor for fish and game of the environmental\nconservation department notifying him of such intention.\n
