§ 352. If proof fails commissioner may require other proof. Whenever\nany proof of financial responsibility filed by any person under the\nprovisions of this article no longer fulfills the purpose for which\nrequired, the commissioner shall, for the purpose of this article,\nrequire other proof of financial responsibility as required by this\narticle, and shall suspend the operator's or chauffeur's license, and\nregistration certificates and registration plates of such person pending\nsuch proof.\n
