§ 102. Office of information technology services; director,\norganization and employees.

1.The office of information technology\nservices is hereby created within the executive department to have and\nexercise the functions, powers and duties provided by the provisions of\nthis article and any other provision of law.\n 2. The head of the office shall be the director of the office, who\nshall serve as the chief technology officer for the state of New York\nand shall be designated as management confidential in the noncompetitive\nclass in accordance with the civil service law. The director shall be\nthe chief executive officer of and in sole charge of the administration\nof the office. The director shall be entitled to receive reimbursement\nfor expenses actually and necessarily incurred
