§ 483. Council on children and families.
1.Purpose. There shall be a\ncouncil on children and families, hereinafter referred to in this\narticle as the "council". The council shall act as a neutral,\ncoordinating agency to promote the well-being of children and families\nby convening the state's human services, health, and education agencies\nto develop aligned and comprehensive approaches to serve children and\nfamilies most efficiently and effectively.\n 2. Council establishment. There shall be a council on children and\nfamilies established within the executive department.
