§ 300. Acknowledgments and proofs by persons in or with the armed\nforces of the United States. The acknowledgment or proof of a conveyance\nof real property situate in this state, if made by a person enlisted or\ncommissioned in or serving in or with the armed forces of the United\nStates or by a dependent of any such person, wherever located, or by a\nperson attached to or accompanying the armed forces of the United\nStates, whether made within or without the United States, may be made\nbefore any officer in active service of the armed forces of the United\nStates authorized to act as a notary in any component part of the armed\nforces of the United States.\n In addition to the requirements of sections three hundred and three,\nthree hundred and four, and three hundred and six of this
