§ 152. Inspector of gas meters abolished; effect thereof. The offices\nof inspector and deputy inspectors of gas meters were abolished on July\nfirst, nineteen hundred and seven. All the powers and duties of such\ninspector conferred and imposed by any statute of this state shall\nhereafter be exercised and performed by the public service commission.\nBut any meter inspected, proved and sealed, by the said inspector of gas\nmeters, prior to July first, nineteen hundred and seven, shall be deemed\nto have been inspected by the commission.\n
