§ 834-a. Policing. Any county, city, town or village within the\nterritorial limits of the district may, by ordinance or resolution of\nits governing body, make covenants with the authority which shall\nprovide for the policing of designated property of the authority by the\npolice of such county, city, town or village with the same powers as\nsuch police have in such county, city, town or village.\n
