§ 3162. Existing rights and remedies preserved. Upon the transfer\npursuant to section thirty-one hundred fifty-six of this title of the\nfunctions and powers possessed by and all of the obligations and duties\nof the New York state office of science, technology and academic\nresearch as established pursuant to article ten-B of the executive law\nto the foundation as prescribed by section thirty-one hundred fifty-six\nof this title, no existing right or remedy of the state, including the\nNew York state office of science, technology and academic research,\nshall be lost, impaired or affected by reason of this title.\n
