§ 3158. Continuity of authority. Upon the transfer pursuant to section\nthirty-one hundred fifty-six of this title of the functions and powers\npossessed by and all of the obligations and duties of the New York state\noffice of science, technology and academic research as established\npursuant to article ten-B of the executive law to the foundation as\nprescribed by section thirty-one hundred fifty-six of this title for the\npurpose of succession to all functions, powers, duties and obligations\nof the New York state office of science, technology and academic\nresearch, the foundation shall be deemed and held to constitute the\ncontinuation of such authority and not a different agency or authority.\n
