§ 2674. Separability. If any provision of any section of this title\nor the application thereof to any person or circumstance shall be\nadjudged invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, such order or\njudgment shall be confined in its operation to the controversy in which\nit was rendered, and shall not affect or invalidate the remainder of any\nprovision of any section of this title or the application of any part\nthereof to any other person or circumstance and to this end the\nprovisions of each section of this title are hereby declared to be\nseverable.\n Insofar as the provisions of this title are inconsistent with the\nprovisions of any other law, general, special or local, the provisions\nof this title shall be controlling.\n
