§ 2613 — Appropriations by the park district

§ 2613. Appropriations by the park district. 1. On or before August\nfifteenth, nineteen hundred eighty-one, and on each August fifteenth\nthereafter, the chairman of the authority, for the approval by the park\ndistrict, shall make and deliver to the official designated by the park\ndistrict a budget for the operation of participating olympic facilities\nby the authority for the forthcoming fiscal year of the state. The\nbudget shall delineate the total amount needed for authority purposes,\nincluding the funds required by the authority for operation of the\nparticipating olympic facilities pursuant to agreements made in\naccordance with sections twenty-six hundred twelve and twenty-six\nhundred fourteen of this title, the source of all funds that the\nauthority expects to receive and such other information as such official\nof the park district shall require. The park district shall approve the\nbudget for the operation of participating olympic facilities by the\nauthority if the park district determines that the budget demonstrates\nthat the authority, without operating at a deficit, can continue in the\nforthcoming fiscal year of the state in the exercise of its corporate\npurposes, powers, duties and functions with the appropriations from the\nstate and the park district in the amounts determined in accordance with\nsections twenty-six hundred twelve and twenty-six hundred fourteen of\nthis title and income received by the authority from other sources.\n 2. The park district may appropriate and provide to the authority an\namount of money determined in accordance with subparagraphs one and two\nof paragraph (g) of subdivision two of section twenty-six hundred twelve\nof this title. The park district shall notify the state director of the\nbudget not later than October first of each year whether or not it has\napproved the budget, made an appropriation to the authority and if such\nappropriation is made, the amount thereof.\n
