§ 2660. Request for state assistance.

1.Should the chairman of the\nauthority determine that state assistance is necessary for the authority\nto achieve its lawful goals, powers and purposes, the chairman may\nannually may make and deliver to the director of the budget, the\nchairman of the senate finance committee and the chairman of the\nassembly ways and means committee a request for financial support for\nthe operation of the authority for the forthcoming fiscal year of the\nstate. The request for financial support shall delineate the total\namount needed by the authority from the state to achieve its lawful\ngoals, powers and purposes, the source of all funds that the authority\nexpects to receive from all other sources, and such other information as\nthe director of the budget, t

§ 2660. Request for state assistance. 1. Should the chairman of the\nauthority determine that state assistance is necessary for the authority\nto achieve its lawful goals, powers and purposes, the chairman may\nannually may make and deliver to the director of the budget, the\nchairman of the senate finance committee and the chairman of the\nassembly ways and means committee a request for financial support for\nthe operation of the authority for the forthcoming fiscal year of the\nstate. Notwithstanding the provisions of any general or special law to the\ncontrary, no part of such appropriations shall be available for the\npurposes designated until a certificate of approval of availability\nshall have been issued by the director of the budget and a copy of such\ncertificate is filed with the comptroller, the chairman of the senate\nfinance committee and the chairman of the assembly ways and means\ncommittee. Such certificate may be amended from time to time, subject\nto the approval of the director of the budget, and a copy of each such\namendment shall be filed with the comptroller, the chairman of the\nsenate finance committee and the chairman of the assembly ways and means\ncommittee.\n
