§ 2639. Conflicts of interest. No member of the board of directors or\nofficer or employee of the commission shall have any interest in any\ncontract, or take any action or otherwise involve himself or herself in\nany activity which, pursuant to article eighteen of the general\nmunicipal law, would be deemed a conflict of interest for a municipal\nofficer or employee holding a position with a municipality similar to\nthe position held by the member, officer or employee with the\ncommission.\n It shall not be deemed a conflict of interest for a person to\nsimultaneously hold positions as a member and as an officer of the\ncommission.\n
