§ 2632 — Hudson-Mohawk urban cultural park commission

§ 2632. Hudson-Mohawk urban cultural park commission. A commission to\nbe known as the "Hudson-Mohawk urban cultural park commission" is hereby\ncreated.\n 1. Such commission shall be a body corporate and politic, constituting\na public benefit corporation.\n 2. The commission shall have a board of directors which shall consist\nof ten voting members, as follows:\n (a) The mayor of the city of Troy.\n (b) The mayor of the village of Waterford.\n (c) The supervisor of the town of Waterford.\n (d) The mayor of the city of Cohoes.\n (e) The mayor of the village of Green Island.\n (f) The mayor of the city of Watervliet.\n (g) The supervisor of the town of Colonie.\n (h) A resident official or employee of Saratoga county appointed by\nand serving at the pleasure of the board of supervisors of such county.\n (i) The county executive of Rensselaer county.\n (j) The county executive of Albany county.\n The commissioner of the office of parks, recreation and historic\npreservation shall be a non-voting member of the board. Each member may\ndesignate a representative to participate in his place. The members\nshall choose from their number a chairman, vice-chairman, and\nsecretary-treasurer. Six of the board's voting members shall constitute\na quorum. The members of the board shall be entitled to no compensation\nfor their services but shall be entitled to reimbursement for their\nactual and necessary expenses incurred in the performance of their\nofficial duties. The voting powers of the commission shall be vested in\nand exercised by a majority of the members of the board. Such board may\ndelegate to one or more of its members or to its officers, agents and\nemployees such powers and duties as it may deem proper.\n
