§ 14.03 Definitions. When used in this article, unless a different\nmeaning clearly appears from the context, the terms listed below shall\nhave the following meanings:\n 1. "Agency preservation officer" means the commissioner, director or\nchairperson of any state department, agency, board, commission, public\nbenefit corporation or public authority, or his representative\nidentified in accordance with the provisions of subdivision two of\nsection 14.05 of this article.\n 2. "Board" means the state board for historic preservation.\n 3. "Chairman" means the chairman of the state board for historic\npreservation.\n 4. "Historic preservation" means for the purposes of this article and\nnotwithstanding any other provision of law, the study, designation,\nprotection, restoration, rehabi
