§ 329. Laws superseded.
1.The provisions of this chapter shall\nsupersede all other state laws and all local laws, ordinances and\nregulations of municipalities to the extent that such laws, ordinances\nor regulations are inconsistent with the provisions of this chapter;\nprovided, however, that the provisions of any other state law or of any\nlocal law, ordinance or regulation of any municipality, or the\nsupplementary rules or regulations of any state department having the\nforce and effect of law, now in effect or hereafter enacted or adopted,\nwhich are more restrictive than those provided in this chapter, shall\ngovern during the period in which they are in effect.\n 2.
