§ 261. Formation of state association. The officers of the organized\nmilitia may organize themselves into an association. Such association\nmay adopt by-laws not inconsistent with the statutes of the state and\nregulations issued pursuant to this chapter and may alter and amend the\nsame and may take and hold such real and personal property as may be\nnecessary for the purposes of the association.\n
