§ 343. Duties of attendants for supreme and county courts in Monroe\ncounty. Each of the persons appointed an attendant in the supreme or\ncounty court by the sheriff of Monroe county pursuant to section four\nhundred and nine of this chapter must attend from day to day the terms\nand sittings of the court to which he is assigned, to preserve order and\nto perform such other services as may be required by the judge or\njustice presiding thereat, and shall attend at chambers and perform such\nother duties in and about said court-house in addition to their duties\nas court attendants, as may be prescribed by said justices and judges.\n
