§ 778. Effective date of dissolution plan. A local government entity\ndissolved pursuant to a dissolution plan shall continue to be governed\nas before dissolution until the effective date of the dissolution\nspecified in the dissolution plan; provided, however, that no\ndissolution plan for a village shall take effect unless approved by a\nmajority of electors of the village at a referendum called through a\nresolution enacted pursuant to section seven hundred seventy-seven of\nthis title.\n
