§ 682 — Definitions

§ 682. Definitions. As used herein, the following terms shall have\nthe following meanings:\n 1. "Government" or "employer" shall mean any county, city, town,\nvillage, school district or other political subdivision in this state\nhaving one hundred or more full-time employees, except the city of New\nYork.\n 2. "Public employee" or "employee" shall mean any person directly\nemployed and compensated by a government, except persons employed in the\nlegislative or judicial branch thereof.\n 3. "Supervisor" shall mean any person, regardless of title, who is\nassigned to exercise any level of supervisory responsibility over public\nemployees.\n 4. "Grievance" shall mean any claimed violation, misinterpretation or\ninequitable application of the existing laws, rules, procedures,\nregulat
