* § 207-e. Minimum retirement benefits for police officers in cities\nand who are members of police pension or retirement systems maintained\nby such cities.

1.Notwithstanding the provisions of any general,\nspecial or local law, charter or administrative code to the contrary,\nand in lieu of any lesser amount otherwise prescribed, any person who is\nan officer or member of the uniformed force of the police department of\na city, and is a member of a police pension or retirement system\nmaintained by such city, and who has completed service as a member of\nsuch city-maintained police pension or retirement system for the minimum\nnumber of years specified in such plan or option selected by him as a\nnecessary prerequisite for a pension or retirement allowance on account\nof retirement fo
