§ 132. Room for detention and examination of persons who are suspected\nof being mentally ill. The board of managers may provide a suitable room\nfor the temporary detention, observation and care of persons who are\nsuspected of being mentally ill and shall do so upon the direction of\nthe governing board or of the department of mental hygiene; provided,\nhowever, that such department before making such direction shall give to\nboth the board of managers and the governing board due notice and\nopportunity to be heard thereon.\n
