§ 817. Support, paternity and child protection. On its own motion and\nat any time in proceedings under this article, the court may direct the\nfiling of a child protective petition under article ten of this chapter,\na support petition under article four, or a paternity petition under\narticle five of this act and consolidate the proceedings.\n
