§ 523-d. Additional powers of the office of the ombudsman.\nNotwithstanding any other provision of law, the office of the ombudsman\nshall have access to, including the right to inspect and copy, any\nrecords necessary to carry out its rights, powers and duties pursuant to\nthis subtitle, excluding those protected by statutory privilege.\nConsistent with applicable laws and regulations, the confidentiality of\nall records and documents obtained must be maintained by the office of\nthe ombudsman.\n
