§ 160-eeee. Denial of registration. The department may investigate the\ngood character of applicants for a certificate of registration under\nthis article and may deny the issuance of such certificate of\nregistration based upon lack of good moral character which may include,\nbut is not limited to, any of the grounds enumerated in this article.\nFor the purposes of this article, a non-substantive ground for denial,\nrevocation, or surrender of an appraiser's license should not be\nconstrued as an automatic prohibition.\n
