§ 160-CCCC — Exemptions
§ 160-cccc. Exemptions. The provisions of this article shall not apply\nto any person that exclusively employs appraisers for the performance of\nappraisals or to any appraisal management company that is a wholly-owned\nsubsidiary of a financial institution, which is regulated by the federal\nfinancial institution regulatory agency. The registration provisions of\nthis article shall not apply to the state, any state agency or\nauthority, or any political subdivision of the state that employs\nappraisers.\n
