§ 71-2709. Unlawful possession of hazardous wastes in the first degree.\n No person shall:\n 1. Knowingly possess acute hazardous wastes at a place other than the\nsite of generation; or\n 2. Knowingly possess more than fifteen hundred gallons or fifteen\nthousand pounds, whichever is less, of an aggregate weight or volume of\nhazardous wastes at a place other than the site of generation; or\n 3. Recklessly possess more than twenty-five hundred gallons or\ntwenty-five thousand pounds, whichever is less, of an aggregate weight\nor volume of hazardous wastes at a place other than the site of\ngeneration.\n Unlawful possession of hazardous waste in the first degree is a class\nD felony.\n
