§ 71-0101 — Effect of the Penal Law and Criminal Procedure Law

§ 71-0101. Effect of the Penal Law and Criminal Procedure Law.\n Notwithstanding any provision of this chapter, the provisions of the\nPenal Law and of the Criminal Procedure Law control over the provisions\nof this chapter to the same extent they controlled over the provisions\nof law from which this chapter is derived, on the date immediately\npreceding the effective date of this chapter.\n For the purpose of section 80.10 of the penal law all fines contained\nwithin this chapter, and not already so designated, shall be deemed\nspecial corporate fines.\n
