§ 71-1715. Enforcement: against officers.\n The performance of any duty or the doing of any act enjoined,\nprescribed or required by the provisions of this chapter listed in\nsection 71-1701, or by titles 17 through 21 inclusive of this article,\nmay be enforced by a proceeding pursuant to article 78 of the Civil\nPractice Law and Rules at the instance of the department or of a local\nboard of health, or of any citizen of full age resident of the\nmunicipality where the duty should be performed or the act done.\n
