§ 51-0709 — Approval of municipal wetlands restoration projects

§ 51-0709. Approval of municipal wetlands restoration projects.\n 1. A municipal wetlands restoration project shall be undertaken\npursuant to this title only with the approval of the commissioner, and\npursuant to an approved contract for state assistance.\n 2. In reviewing applications for municipal wetland restoration\nprojects, the commissioner shall give due consideration to:\n a. the urgency of need to restore such wetlands;\n b. the potential ecological value of such wetlands;\n c. the potential value of such wetlands for flood and storm water\ncontrol and pollution and sediment filtering;\n d. the level of biological productivity which will be achieved by\nrestoration thereof.\n
