§ 1-103 — Definitions

§ 1-103. Definitions. As used in this chapter, unless a different\nmeaning clearly appears from the context or unless a different meaning\nis stated in a definition applicable to only a portion of this chapter:\n 1. "Agency" shall mean any state department, agency, board, public\nbenefit corporation, public authority or commission.\n 2. "Office" as used in sections 5-108, 5-111, 5-113, and 5-117 of\narticle five and articles six, seven, eight and ten of this chapter\nshall mean the New York state energy research and development authority\nestablished pursuant to article eight of the public authorities law.\n 3. "Coal" shall include bituminuous coal, anthracite coal, and\nlignite.\n 4. "Commissioner" as used in sections 5-108, 5-111, 5-113, and 5-117\nof article five and articles six,
