§ 3243. Penalty for withholding information. A parent, guardian or\nother person having under his control or charge a child between birth\nand eighteen years of age who withholds or refuses to give information\nin his possession relating to such child and required under part two of\nthis article, or any such parent, guardian or other person who gives\nfalse information in relation thereto, shall be liable to and punished\nby a fine not exceeding twenty dollars or by imprisonment not exceeding\nthirty days.\n
