§ 624. Next of kin; death of incarcerated individual. 1.

(a)The\ndepartment shall promptly notify the next of kin and any other person\ndesignated as the representative of any incarcerated individual whose\ndeath takes place during custody.\n (b) The department shall promptly notify the next of kin and any other\nperson designated as a representative of the circumstances surrounding\nthe death of such incarcerated individual, the medical procedures used\nand the cause of death including preliminary determinations and final\ndetermination as reported by an autopsy report as such information\nbecomes available.\n (c) The next of kin and other person designated as a representative\nshall be identified from the emergency contact information previously\nprovided by the incarcerated individ
