§ 117. Division of minority and women's business development. There is\nhereby created within the department of economic development a division\nof minority and women-owned business development. The director of such\ndivision shall be appointed by the governor, shall report directly to\nthe commissioner on the activities of the division, and shall hold\noffice at the pleasure of the commissioner. The commissioner may appoint\nsuch officers, employees, agents, consultants and special committees as\nhe or she may deem necessary to carry out the provisions of this article\nand prescribe their duties.\n
