§ 6010. Selection of inspectors at stockholders' meetings. Unless\notherwise provided in the by-laws, the board, in advance of any\nstockholders' meeting, may appoint one or more inspectors to act at the\nmeeting or any adjournment thereof. If inspectors are not so appointed,\nthe person presiding at a stockholders' meeting may, and on the request\nof any stockholder entitled to vote thereat shall, appoint one or more\ninspectors. In case any person appointed fails to appear or act, the\nvacancy may be filled by appointment made by the board in advance of the\nmeeting or at the meeting by the person presiding thereat. Each\ninspector, before entering upon the discharge of his duties, shall take\nand sign an oath faithfully to execute the duties of inspector at such\nmeeting with strict
