§ 552. Pending actions or proceedings. This chapter shall not affect\npending actions or proceedings brought by or against the department of\nagriculture and markets or the department of farms and markets, the\ncommissioner of agriculture and markets or the commissioner of farms and\nmarkets, the department of agriculture, the commissioner of agriculture,\nthe department of foods and markets, the commissioner of foods and\nmarkets, the state superintendent of weights and measures, the state\ncommissioner of health, or any other officer, person or corporation, or\nby or in behalf of the people of the state, under or in pursuance of any\nof the provisions of the laws which are to be enforced or carried into\neffect under the provisions of this chapter by the department, but the\nsame may b
