§ 606. Citizenship and residence requirements for department heads and\ndeputies. The head of each department or office and each deputy\nappointed under or pursuant to the provisions of this chapter shall, at\nthe time of his appointment and throughout the incumbency of his office\nbe a citizen of the United States and a resident of the county.\n
