§ 22-1-12 — Career technical education pilot project

A.A "career technical education pilot project" is created as a seven-year pilot project administered by the department to fund high-quality career technical education programs and monitor their effect on student outcomes, including achievement scores, academic growth, remediation rates and graduation rates. The department shall consult with the higher education department and the workforce solutions department as it develops its measures to determine what constitutes a high-quality career technical education program and what students should know and be able to demonstrate to an employer or to succeed in a post-secondary career technical education program.
