§ 58:4A-18 — Renewal of license.

14. a. No license shall be renewed unless the renewal applicant submits satisfactory evidence to the board that the renewal applicant has successfully completed the continuing education requirements established by the department pursuant to section 7 of P.L.1947, c.377 (C.58:4A-11). b. A license once issued, unless revoked or suspended, may be renewed at any time within one year before its expiration date on application therefor and payment of the required renewal fee, and any such renewal shall become effective on and after July 1 next following the date of renewal. A license not renewed prior to its expiration date may be reinstated within six months of the expiration date by payment of the license renewal fee. After the six-month period, renewal shall require the passing of an examination prescribed by the department pursuant to section 7 of P.L.1947, c.377 (C.58:4A-11) for applicants for new licenses.
