§ 58:12A-17 — Tariffs; increase by order to equal service costs of tests
New Jersey·Title 58 WATERS AND WATER SUPPLY
Within 90 days of the effective date of this amendatory and supplementary act, the Board of Public Utilities shall issue appropriate orders increasing current tariffs established pursuant to law for the supplying of water service by an amount equal to the total increase in the relevant water supply service costs resulting from the testing of water required by the provisions of this amendatory and supplementary act and the tax levied pursuant to section 11 of this amendatory and supplementary act. In issuing this order, the board shall not be bound to find a rate base under the provisions of section 31 of P.L.1962, c. 198 (C. 48:2-21.2). L.1983, c. 443, s. 6, eff. Jan. 9, 1984.
