Text
The Department of Environmental Protection and all areawide waste treatment management planning agencies shall establish a comprehensive public participation program directed towards informing the public and involving it in the water quality management planning process. Opportunities for meaningful public participation shall be provided during determination of planning goals, plan development, review, and adoption in accordance with the policy of this act and all applicable requirements of law. L.1977, c. 75, s. 8, eff. April 25, 1977.
