Text
All projects and activities affecting water quality in any planning area shall be developed and conducted in a manner consistent with the adopted areawide plan. The commissioner shall not make any grant for construction of a publicly owned treatment works to any agency not identified as the necessary agency to construct said facilities pursuant to any adopted areawide plan. The commissioner shall not grant any permit which is in conflict with an adopted areawide plan. L.1977, c. 75, s. 10, eff. April 25, 1977.
