§ 55:19-25 — Prioritization of projects

6.The authority, in determining which projects to approve for financing, shall accord first priority to any project situated in a municipality which at the time the application for project financing is submitted is eligible to receive aid under the "Special Municipal Aid Act," P.L.1987, c.75 (C.52:27D-118.24 et seq.) and is coextensive with a "special needs district" designated pursuant to the "Quality Education Act of 1990," P.L.1990, c.52 (C.18A:7D-1 et seq.). Subsequent priority shall be assigned to projects in any municipality which, at the time the application for project financing is submitted, is coextensive with a "special needs district" and projects in a qualified municipality shall receive last priority.
