§ 55:19-13 — Employment tax credit
New Jersey·Title 55 TENEMENT HOUSES AND PUBLIC HOUSING
Any person, firm or corporation actively engaged in the conduct of business at a location within a project, as defined in this act, which is subject to the provisions of the "Corporation Business Tax Act (1945)," P.L. 1945, c. 162 (C.54:10A-1 et seq.), and the business of which at that location consists primarily of manufacturing or other business that is not retail sales or warehousing oriented, shall, for a period of two years from the date upon which an agreement for the undertaking of the project was entered into pursuant to section 8 or 9 of this act, be entitled to an annual credit against the amount of tax imposed under that act of $1,500.00 for each new employee employed at that location who is a resident of the qualified municipality and who immediately prior to such employment wa
