§ 52:32-15 — Standards established for accommodation of persons with disabilities.
New Jersey·Title 52 STATE GOVERNMENT, DEPARTMENTS AND OFFICERS
2.To carry out the purpose of section 1 of P.L.1975, c.224 (C.52:32-14) the Department of Transportation shall, within 30 days of the enactment of P.L.1975, c.224 (C.52:32-14 et seq.), and periodically thereafter as necessary, after consultation with the Director of the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services of the Department of Labor and the Director of the Division of Disability Services and the Executive Director of the State Commission for the Blind and Visually Impaired of the Department of Human Services, prescribe standards, which shall include, but not be limited to, standards of drainage, slope gradient, width, and slip-resistant qualities which will assure that a sidewalk will accommodate a person using a wheelchair or other persons with disabilities.
