Text

a. The commissioner, upon request, shall advise any employer or employee group as to:

(1)The procedures for establishing an employee stock ownership plan;
(2)The availability of federal, State and local assistance; and, (3) The availability of private sector consultants or associations who are capable of performing a satisfactory analysis of the potential profitability of a proposed employee stock ownership plan and any other relevant studies or surveys. b. The commissioner may, in his discretion, assist in reviewing and evaluating materials produced by private consultants pursuant to paragraph (3) of subsection a. of this section.
