§ 52:27H-9 — Economic development council; transfer to department; members; continuance in office; duties; advisory committees
New Jersey·Title 52 STATE GOVERNMENT, DEPARTMENTS AND OFFICERS
The Economic Development Council created by P.L.1965, c. 21 (C. 13:1B-15.75 et seq.), shall be transferred to the department. The chairperson and other members of the Economic Development Council in office on the effective date of this act shall continue in office respectively as members of the council for the duration of the terms for which they were appointed. The council shall provide advice to the commissioner and assist the commissioner in the recommendation of comprehensive policies for the implementation of the functions, powers and duties assigned to the department for the promotion of a healthy business and industrial climate in New Jersey.
