Text
The Division of Economic Development shall be under the immediate supervision of a director, who, prior to his appointment, shall be qualified by responsible work in economic development activities or its equivalent in training and experience. The director of such division shall be appointed by the commissioner and shall serve at the pleasure of the commissioner. The director shall administer the work of such division under the direction and supervision of the commissioner, and shall perform such other functions of the department as the commissioner may prescribe.
