The State Planning Board, State Housing Authority, New Jersey Council, South Jersey Transit Commission, Port Raritan District Commission and the State Service Officer are hereby abolished and their respective functions, powers and duties shall, as provided in this act, devolve upon the Department of Economic Development. L.1944, c. 85, art. 1, p. 169, s. 5.
